Which formats do we buy?

Investment gold is gold acquired with the main aim of preserving value and diversifying your savings. Unlike jewellery, which involves design and craftsmanship, investment gold focuses on the value of the metal and its price on the international market.

Which formats do we buy?

  • Gold bullion bars: available in various weights (1 g, 10 g, 50 g, 100 g, 1 oz, 1 kg…). They usually have high purity, typically 999.9 (24 carats).
  • Investment coins: well-known, easy-to-sell coins such as the Krugerrand, Maple Leaf, Britannia, Vienna Philharmonic or American Eagle (subject to availability and market).

Tips before buying

Gold can rise or fall in price. This content is for information only and does not constitute financial advice.

Check purity, weight and provenance

Buy from trusted sellers and keep your invoice and documentation.

Consider how you will store it: at home (with security measures) or in a professional vault/custody service.

If you want the best metal-to-price ratio, large bullion bars usually stand out; for flexibility when selling, coins are often very handy.
